He looks in the garbage cans
outside the
diner hoping to find something to eat.
He does. Now he is tired and needs a place to
sleep, so he finds a box and crawls inside to
sleep. He's cold.
He wakes up in the morning and
hears voices. He asks himself if there is a
parade, and looks to see.
He starts to cry for what he see's is a
group of
kids burning the flag in protest of our
government. He tries to stop them.But they
kick him. They call him names.
They don't understand it was because of that
soldier and all the others that have fought
for their country that gave these kids their
rights under the flag that they're
burning.
AT WHAT COST IS FREEDOM OF
EXPRESSION?
ONE OF OUR MANY RIGHTS WE HAVE TODAY.
A SOLDIERS LIFE, A POW OR AN MIA STILL
WAITING TO COME HOME TO AMERICA.
THATS THE COST. THAT IS PAID FOR OUR RIGHTS
UNDER THE FLAG.
A SOLDIERS LIFE.
The same flag that has carried
us through every war, the same flag that
flies over every state captial, and the same
flag that covers a soldiers coffin.
Only in America......can a
homeless combat veteran live in a cardboard
box and a draft dodger live in the White
House.
This doesn't have to happen He serviced his country and helped give us FREEDOM Yet we turn our back on him WHY?
